Wrap it up (1)
Attempt to “wrap” a NCU system
Take a euro input, store as IEP, re-display as euro
This examples shows an attempt to store euro values in a heavier currency, the Irish pound. If the UK joins, similar problems will apply there.
The output euro is not the same as the input, and if converted line by line, they don’t add up.
This is not an isolated case: it happens in 27% of amounts in IEP, and (at current rates) would affect about 37% of sterling conversions.
